A Summer to Remember

Pauline Tait Award-winning and bestselling children's author, romantic suspense novelist and writing mentor to children's authorsAfter two and a half months of jam packed events, I’ve plumbed for one blog post that covers them all.

From the hugely successful launch event of Anna’s Promise in Waterstones in Perth, to the equally successful Waterstones, indie bookshops and libraries tour that came to an end just as the Waterstones tour with my children’s books was about to begin, it was summer that saw me travel the country, meet the loveliest of readers, and draw some of my biggest audiences to date.

Perth, Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Glasgow (several times), Oban, Stirling, Blairgowrie, Edinburgh (several times), I wracked up both miles and book sales before it all came to an end and I escaped to the sun for a well earned rest and family time.

My thanks goes to Waterstones for their continued support. Their staff are the loveliest of people and they have opened doors for me that I could never have  imagined, as have our wonderful indie books shops and libraries. And to everyone who came along, my events would be nothing without them.

I have added a selection of photographs from across the summer. I don’t have too many, especially from my children’s events as, understandably, it’s not always easy getting permission to share these photos, but as always, the arts and crafts were out in abundance.

A massive thank you to everyone who tagged me in posts. I’m always so busy at events that without these tags, there wouldn’t be many photos to share.
